Wire rope barriers issue heats up in parliament

Numurkah Leader, 7 March 2018: The state opposition would suspend the installation of wire rope barriers on Victorian highways if elected and instead spend the money on road repairs and maintenace, the Nationals said last week.

Wire rope barriers heated up as an issue in state parliament last week, with Nationals and Liberal MPs questioning Roads Minister Luke Donnellan about the rollout and positioning of the fences.
